Bothie Privacy Policy
Photos and videos are processed only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
1. Permissions we access
Camera access displays and captures front and rear views. Microphone access is requested only when you record video. Add-only photo access saves media you create.
2. Data collection and sharing
We do not create accounts, use advertising, track users across apps, or sell personal data. On Android, Firebase Analytics receives anonymous functional events only after explicit opt-in.
3. Local activity records
Anonymous functional events stay in on-device SQLite for at most 30 days or 5,000 events. On Android, only events created after consent may be synchronized; earlier events are never uploaded. Events contain no media, file paths, contacts, precise location, advertising IDs, or account data.
4. Storage and deletion
You choose whether to save to the system photo library and may delete media or revoke permissions at any time. Uninstalling does not remove media already saved.
5. Data security
Composition, preview, and saving happen locally. Bothie does not operate a server that receives your photos or videos.
6. Children’s privacy
Bothie does not target children for data collection and does not collect age, identity, or location.

9. App and website analytics
On Android, Bothie uses Firebase Analytics only after you explicitly opt in. It may send feature interactions, app version, device model, operating system, language, approximate region, and a Google app-instance identifier. It never sends photos, videos, camera content, file paths, contacts, precise location, advertising IDs, or account data. Events created before consent are not uploaded, and analytics can be disabled at any time in Privacy. This website loads Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics. It may measure page views, section views, scroll depth, FAQ opens, language choices, guide clicks, and interest in Google Play. Google may process browser, device, and approximate region information for these measurements. We never send photos, videos, camera activity, contact details, precise location, advertising IDs, or account data. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be changed through Analytics settings.
